Very good message. The world so much regards Jesus as a teacher. C.S. Lewis reminds us that concluding that Jesus is only a teacher is not possible, based on what Jesus did and has done. Lewis comments that Jesus could only be a lunatic, the ultimate deceiver and liar, or Jesus is who He says He is, and we learned today, who Peter says Jesus is, Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. Thank you Phil for dissecting the meaning of each word in what Peter said.

So true. We do nothing to save ourselves. We are only made AWARE of the fact that GOD, for some unknown reason, has put His fingerprints on our lives and we respond “why me?” From that time forward, we look up and say: What’s next Lord? Where shall we go, what shall we do?

Does the clay say to the potter: I want to be….?

This is the first time that I’ve had to use our Church’s website so that I could hear the word of God and I must say it is a true blessing I never realized for people who couldn’t get to the church how important it is thank you to everybody that provided this sermon good word exactly what I needed to hear exactly at the right time! God is good!
